Gerald Kelly, comedian genius, internationally known comic favorite and TV, movie and radio personality touching lives with laughter and through an organization named, “calling all fathers”. Gerald is the founder of this organization and in pursuit of happiness for all, he has committed to reshaping and educating men on the importance of being in their children’s lives.

Gerald is a native New Yorker, born in the Bronx. He is the eldest of four and raised by a single mother. Truth told, life was not always easy growing up in a single household without a male presence and at a tender age, he too married and entered fatherhood. He later divorced, but declares that his children are his life and force behind what he does. Gerald is the proud father of three, Isaiah, Yazmine and Joshua. He best describes his relationship with Isaiah as his best friend, bornified comic genius and true fore-runner of teen comedy; his daughter Yazimine as daddy’s little girl who holds the keys to his heart; and his youngest Joshua, a real bundle of joy who manages to always place a smile on daddy’s face.

Stand up comedy has always been a passion of Gerald’s and while there are no academic courses to become a comedian, Gerald proactively studied drama in various acting schools throughout New York and Los Angeles to help broaden his craft. Today, Gerald has a multi dimensional career and has performed across the United States and abroad. Gerald is known by millions for his funny appearance on many popular network and TV cable channels such as HBO's Def Comedy Jam, Showtime at the Apollo, Conan O'Brien, and BET Comic View. He’s appeared in a number of movies: The Other Brother, Death of a Dynasty, Wendy Williams Experience (the movie) starring Robin Givens, Cookout II with Charlie Murphy, Tons of Love and his very own DVD and best seller "Comedy in the Hood,” He’s worked as a radio talk show host for 107.5 WBLS and Co-talk show host for WZMX in Hartford, Connecticut.

Gerald has many years of experience in the business and recognizes that he is one of the funniest comedians that have ever stepped on the planet. However, in many instances being the funniest comedian can be like “grasping for the wind”, says Gerald, until he met the Lord. While Gerald is still a work in progress, he recognizes where his gift comes from and more important who is in control of his destiny. Nothing in this world can or will ever be accomplished without God, says Gerald. Gerald is purpose driven to fulfill his calling and has embarked on doing “Comedy for Christ” to touch the lives of God's people through his craft. He has worked with gospel pioneers such as Hezekiah Walker and Shirley Caesar and performs Comedy for Christ at multiple churchorganizations around the world.
